Privacy Policy

Valhyr Clicker (clickhyr.com) · Last updated 19 June 2026

This policy explains what information Valhyr Clicker ("the game", "we") collects when you play, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. Information stored on your device

Your game progress (glory, upgrades, runes, settings, etc.) is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you choose to submit a score (see below). Clearing your browser data will erase this progress.

2. The leaderboard (only if you choose to submit)

Submitting a score is optional. If you do, we store and publicly display the Viking name and score you enter (and your click count). Please do not use your real name or any personal information as your Viking name, since it is shown publicly. Leaderboard entries are kept per calendar month.

3. Email address (optional)

When submitting a score you may optionally provide an email address so we can send you store discount codes. Your email is stored privately, is never shown on the leaderboard, and is never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see "Your choices").

4. Third-party services we use

To run and protect the game we rely on the following providers, which may process limited technical data (such as your IP address, device/browser information, and usage events) under their own privacy policies:

5. Cookies & local storage

The game uses local storage to save your progress. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. reCAPTCHA (anti-abuse/security) is always active. You can also control or clear cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect functionality such as saved progress.

6. How long we keep data

Public leaderboard entries are retained per month and may be cleared periodically. Opt-in emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or they are no longer needed for sending discount codes. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings.

7. Children

The game is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their country (for example, 13 in the US or 16 in parts of the EU). If you are below that age, please do not submit a score or email without a parent or guardian's permission.

8. Your choices & rights

Playing the game requires no account and no personal data. Submitting a name, score, or email is entirely optional. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent. To make a request — including deleting an email you submitted — contact us at the address below.

9. International users

Our providers (Google) may process data on servers outside your country. By using the game and submitting optional information, you understand this processing takes place.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
